Puerto Levante is the capital city and the biggest city of the homonym state. The city was founded by spanish in 1769 and soon became one of the most important cities of America. The city under the spanish control met a period of richness which made Puerto Levante a cultural and financial city. In 1834 Puerto Levante passed, like whole Poemia, under the controll of Mexican Empire until its unification to Poemian Federation. Because of its history, Puerto Levante is a typical spanish colonial city, full of fountains, churches and typical colonial buildings, these monuments make Puerto Levante the second Turistic destination in the country.
